Contribute to Food for Thought - Interfaith Recipe Book Initiative- by March 31!
IFA community volunteers, lead by of co-chairs Nita Desai and Judy Ludwig, are collaborating on an Interfaith Recipe Book, Food for Thought-Celebrating Cuisines and Cultures of Sharon, MA. The goal is to continue bridging the gap among the diverse communities that live in Sharon.
Food, which is a common denominator, brings people together to share experiences that foster a greater understanding and respect. Moreover, it will create an opportunity for a diverse group to share their traditional comfort foods, special delights, and interesting stories revolving around them.
Our aim for this culinary project is to include unique recipes from around the world, and highlight the traditions of the people of Sharon. All proceeds from this Recipe Book will support Interfaith Action community celebrations and programs for the youth.
