We combine resources with on the ground experience.

Impact Fellows Action Fund was formed in 2019 to help fill the political-action funding void in early childhood. Established by leadership from the Alliance for Early Success and grounded in research, Impact Fellows understands the landscape, pitfalls and opportunities in states across the country. We also know that state-level advocates and grassroots organizations can achieve their goals when we respect their knowledge and provide the resources they need to be even more effective. It is our view that advocates understand the best course of action for their states, and Impact Fellows does not dictate or promote messaging or tactics, instead focusing solely on funding smart strategy in states that are primed for adding political action to get more early childhood development wins.

In addition to funding, we provide technical assistance to state-level advocates and grassroots leaders to help guide them toward 501(c)(4) political action and to build power for early childhood across the country. As a result, advocates are able to massively increase their odds for early childhood development victories.

Our fiercely bipartisan stance further increases those odds, as the future success of our children is an issue that’s important to all political backgrounds and requires universal support.

Our political-action funding and support unlocks powerful levers for change:

  • Political polling
  • Collecting signatures
  • Organizing and supporting partisan campaign events
  • Unlimited lobbying
  • Ballot initiative support
  • Targeted media outreach and communications
  • Get-out-the-vote activities
  • Legal advice and support
  • Candidate engagement, scorecards
  • Linking voters to candidates, lawmakers and specific legislation
