By strategically funding state-level 501(c)(4) advocacy, Impact Fellows Action Fund helped partners protect progress, advance critical policy priorities, and keep the needs of families front and center.
Family Forward Action, a 501(c)4 organization, has demonstrated that ambitious child care policies and funding can be put in place and sustained when backed by legislative and electoral advocacy.
In 2025, Impact Fellows Action Fund provided funding support to 16 states. Across the board, our Fellows reported a significant gap between the funding available for 501(c)(4) advocacy and that for 501(c)(3) efforts.
In the first half of 2025, our Fellows’ 501(c)(4) advocacy efforts are already yielding results for young children and families.
