In the first half of 2025, Fellows across 15 states have significantly advanced their 501(c)(4) advocacy efforts to improve the lives of young children and families. All Fellows do unlimited lobbying in the forms of direct, contracted, and grassroots. Key policy areas include:
- Child care: Colorado, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Virginia
- Preschool: Arizona, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia
- Paid Leave: Arizona, New Mexico, Pennsylvania
- Health and Wellbeing: Colorado, North Carolina, Tennessee
- Family Supports (e.g., tax credits): Arizona, Louisiana, Maryland, New Mexico, New York, Tennessee, and Louisiana (home visiting)
